Hugo Moltó Medina (1994)
The musical critique praises his artistic temper, his musicality and virtuosity, him being one of the guitarists from the new generation with more musical sensitivity, knowledge and technical strength.
His performances as a soloist have sounded in halls such as Carnegie Hall (New York), the Winter Gallery Hall (Washington), the Auditorio Nacional (Madrid), Palau de la Música (Valencia), Classical Guitar of Miami and the “Bonner Meisterkonzerte klassiche Gitarre” cycle held in Bonn, Germany. Also as a soloist accompanied by the “Orquesta Metropolitana” from Madrid in the “Auditorio Nacional” and by the “Orquesta de Valencia” in “Palau de la Música”, working hand by hand with conductors like Yaron Traub.
Music and life through time
The aim of this CD is to deepen our knowledge of musical history by bringing together famous composers and musicians from the Renaissance to our time. Making music is silence as mush as sound, from the depths of Baroque we travel to the harmonic simplicity of a classic period which ends in the contemporary dimension.
